All Conantum residents are invited to share holiday cheer at open houses hosted by neighborhood families, providing a chance to catch up with friends and to meet new neighbors. Many gather beforehand for a community sing - with a surprise visitor at the end!

Budding scientists gathered on the ball field to share a wide array of hand-made and official viewers that allowed everyone to experience the eclipse. Similarly, in October 1957 the first members of the community congregated on the ballfield at night to watch Sputnik pass overhead!

Family Campouts
Weather dependent!
New events include campouts open to all! Whether residents decide to stay over or just join in the evening act ivies, all are welcome.

A campfire is lit, smores prepared and flashlight tag often ensues. The first campout included over 35 people and a couple of dogs participating with 25 hearty souls braving thin air mattresses and snoring sleep companions to be rewarded by an early morning mist rising from the field, hot coffee and the satisfaction of having overcoming the pull of modern life to reconnect with the natural world.
Garden Pot-lucks
Growing Season
The Community Garden members gather several times each season to share meals, often featuring home-grown produce picked that day.
